Cloud Migration Services
Cloud migration without the drama. We've moved hundreds of workloads to Azure and AWS with zero downtime, and we know exactly where migrations go wrong because we've fixed the ones that did.
Talk to an EngineerMigrations Go Wrong All the Time. They Don't Have To.
Extended downtime. Data that didn't make it. Costs that blew past the estimate. Applications that worked fine on-premises but break in the cloud. We've seen every way a migration can fail because we've been called in to rescue enough of them. The difference between a migration that goes smoothly and one that turns into a six-month nightmare comes down to preparation, dependency mapping, and having engineers who've done this before.
How We Do Cloud Migrations
We hold both the Azure Expert MSP and AWS Advanced Consulting Partner designations, which means we migrate to whichever platform fits your workloads -- or both. Our framework exists because we've refined it over hundreds of migrations, and every step exists to prevent a specific thing that's gone wrong before.
Assessment & Planning
Before anything moves, we know everything about your environment. We inventory every application, server, database, and network dependency. We identify the things that will break if migrated in the wrong order. You get a detailed plan with phased waves, rollback procedures, and realistic timelines -- not optimistic ones designed to win a contract.
Azure & AWS Migration Execution
We use the right tools for each workload -- Azure Migrate, AWS Application Migration Service, AWS Database Migration Service, and custom automation for the stuff that doesn't fit neatly into a vendor tool. Lift-and-shift, re-platform, or re-architect -- we'll tell you which approach makes sense for each workload and why.
Zero-Downtime Strategies
For the systems that absolutely cannot go offline -- and every organization has them -- we use continuous replication, DNS-based cutover, and blue-green deployment patterns. Your users don't experience an outage. Your business doesn't stop. The transition happens underneath them.
Post-Migration Optimization
Moving to the cloud isn't the finish line. After migration, we right-size resources, set up cost controls, tune performance, and establish monitoring baselines. The goal is your cloud environment running better and costing less than what it replaced -- and we don't consider the project done until that's true.
What You Get
Zero Downtime
We've built our entire migration methodology around keeping your business running during the move. Live replication, phased cutovers, and rollback plans for everything. Your users won't know anything changed.
We've Done Hundreds of These
Not a dozen. Not "several." Hundreds of workloads across healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and government. We know what's going to go wrong before it does because we've seen it before.
Azure and AWS Expertise
Azure Expert MSP and AWS Advanced Partner. We migrate to whichever platform is right for each workload, and we'll be honest about which one that is instead of pushing our preference.
Every Dependency Mapped
The number one reason migrations fail is missed dependencies. We use automated discovery tools and manual validation to map every connection before anything moves. No surprises at cutover.
We Stay After It's Done
Our 24/7/365 managed services team takes over after migration. Same 15-minute response SLA, same engineers who know your environment because they migrated it.
How It Works
We Map Everything
Automated discovery tools plus our engineers' experience. We inventory your environment, map every dependency, and assess cloud readiness for each workload. You get a migration assessment with real cost projections, risk analysis, and an honest timeline.
We Build the Plan
Our architects design the target cloud environment and create migration wave plans that group related workloads together. Each wave has a detailed runbook, a rollback procedure, and clear success criteria. Nothing is ambiguous.
We Start With the Easy Stuff
Lower-risk workloads go first. This validates our process, builds confidence, and catches any environment-specific issues before we touch the mission-critical systems. We learn from each wave and apply those lessons to the next.
We Move the Hard Stuff Carefully
Mission-critical systems get zero-downtime treatment. Continuous replication, DNS cutover, thorough testing in the new environment before we switch traffic. Every application is validated against success criteria before we move on.
We Optimize and Hand Off
After everything is running in the cloud, we right-size resources, implement cost governance, and set up monitoring baselines. Then our managed services team takes over for ongoing 24/7/365 operations. Or, if you prefer to run it yourself, we hand it over clean and documented.
Why We Can Back This Up
- Azure Expert MSP -- Microsoft's highest credential for managed Azure services. We passed the independent audit that covers migration methodology specifically.
- AWS Advanced Consulting Partner -- AWS validated our migration expertise and customer outcomes.
- VMware Cloud Verified -- Running VMware? We can migrate you to the cloud while preserving your VMware investments, or help you move off VMware entirely.
- Hundreds of Successful Migrations -- Healthcare, finance, manufacturing, government. We've moved workloads in regulated industries where failure isn't an option.
- 24/7/365 Post-Migration Support -- 15-minute response SLA from day one in the cloud. The team that migrated you is the team that supports you.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a cloud migration take?
It depends on what you're working with. A small environment (10-20 servers) can be done in 4-6 weeks. Mid-size (50-100 servers) usually takes 2-4 months. Large enterprise migrations with hundreds of workloads happen in phased waves over 6-12 months. We give you a detailed timeline during the assessment -- and we're honest about it. If someone tells you they can migrate 200 servers in a month, they're either cutting corners or lying.
Can you migrate to both Azure and AWS?
Yes. We're both an Azure Expert MSP and an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner. We'll recommend whichever platform is the best fit for each workload, and we support multi-cloud architectures where different applications run on different platforms with secure connectivity between them. We don't have a dog in the Azure vs. AWS fight -- we just want your stuff to work well.
What does zero-downtime migration actually mean?
It means your users don't experience an outage during the move. We use continuous data replication to keep the source and target environments in sync, then switch DNS to point traffic to the new cloud environment once everything is validated. The source keeps running until we're sure the target is working perfectly. If something looks off, we don't cut over -- we fix it first.
What happens after the migration is complete?
Two options. We can hand off to your team with full documentation and knowledge transfer, or our managed services team can take over ongoing operations. Most clients choose the latter -- 24/7/365 monitoring, patching, security, and incident response with a 15-minute SLA. The engineers who migrated your environment are the same ones who support it, so there's no ramp-up period.
